Life, Goals, and the Grind

The Setback

Last week, after creating my website, I was pumped to get things going—only to catch the norovirus and have to delay putting things in motion as planned.

Although it was intense and unlike anything I’d experienced before, fortunately, it didn’t take too long to regain my strength. Yesterday and today, I was finally able to get a few things done.

✅ Furniture moved to storage unit

✅ Cleaned up house

✅ Create personal and professional 2025 Goals

✅ Cleaned out closet and said goodbye to a few items my wife despises, but I loved. Happy wife, happy life 😉

✅ Meal prep for the week done

❌ Unfortunately, the sickness also meant I couldn’t get back to the gym as I had planned last week. However, I still managed to get in 12k steps by walking instead of using Uber for my trips to storage and by talking a Sunday morning stroll along the river. These are small changes, but I’m convinced they’ll make a big difference in the long term—both for my wallet and my physical health.

Goals for next week:

  • Go to the gym twice
  • Start with my C25k training
  • Adhere to my sleep goals of at least 7 hours per night
